Las Cruces High School Band Reunion

Band member biography . . .

Since leaving education and teacher training about 15 years ago, I have been in the high-stress high-tech industry. I am currently Manager of Technical Publications in a mid-size company that manufactures audio-video-data conference servers and software. I enjoy my work, but it consumes too much of my time and energy. Am planning all sorts of wonderful businesses and activities for an eventual semi-retirement.

Of the interest that I share with my husband, music is the most important. I participate in his long-standing pipe organ company (a side-line occupation), sing in choruses and choirs, listen to our collection of 700+ classical CDs, and, yes, occasionally play organ and flute duets! We also love exploring local parks and conservation areas, traveling to near and distant places, and maintaining our 2-acre property (with fish pond!).

My almost 24-year-old son, at NMSU for a couple of years, joined the army to seek his destiny. He’s now a cook at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, still not sure what he wants to do next. My daughter, 30 last month, a computer engineer, received last week her Masters in Social Work from Boston University. She and her husband-to-be have just purchased a house in Acton near where we live in Carlisle, MA.
