Band member biography . . .

After graduation from UNM in 1968 I was on the road with a small jazz group and then I joined the New Mexico Symphony as the principal percussionist. I attended UNM Law School, getting my J.D. in 1973, and I continued to play in the orchestra while practicing law with the Legal Aid Society.

I moved to the State of Washington in 1977 to join another legal services program providing free legal services to low income people in civil matters.

I am still practicing law but I continue to make part of my living playing music. I am the principal percussionist with the Yakima Symphony, I play drums for a 14-piece big band, and I perform regularly with several jazz groups.
